Dear Families, Happy December!  It's the "most wonderful time of the year" and the kids are enthusiastically buzzing about their Elf on a shelf, creating their Christmas lists, writing letters to Santa, and all the other joys that this season brings!  Thank you to all the staff and students who participated in our first holiday spirit day by dressing in red, green, and white from head to toe!  It was so great seeing the bright colours and it really cheered up all our spirits :) Parker: Thank you to Parker and family for sharing the song " Grateful:  A Love Song to the World! "  Parker and his older brother Coleton were at their grandparents house and upon hearing this song, they both chimed in, "Gramma, Ms. Gill would love this song!"  When I received this message, it brought immense joy to my heart!   Thank you boys for thinking of me!  When I first listened to this beautiful, heart-opening song, it brought tears to my eyes.  My Ma love...

Dear Families, Can you believe that we’re soon into the month of December, like next week?!  Winter's arrived and the kids are loving it with building structures outside.  I appreciate you (parents) providing the appropriate attire for your child so he or she is prepared for any weather that may come our way (rain, snow, etc).  After all, we do live in Collingwood/Nottawa ;)   I hope you have a wonderful weekend as a family and I look forward to reuniting with ALL MY STUDENTS on Monday :-) Bus Cancellations: In the event that busses are cancelled due to inclement weather like today, please have your child access Google Classroom and work through the suggested at home activities.    Thank you for supporting your child in his or her learning at home even on a snow day!
